Summer is upon us! Cherish those early morning sunrises with the fresh cool air – and even the evenings have been wonderful. We enjoy sitting outside on our newly remodeled deck enjoying the weather and relaxing after a strenuous day working the farm.
We are picking up a new batch of pastured all natural chicken and beef at the processor this coming week. The supplies should be plentiful. We have several bundles listed – not quite as much as a 1/4 but enough to get a good deal on! We have sold many 1/2 and 1/4 beeves the last few months – hopefully everyone is stocking up – as the price of beef is only due to continue rising. It is a nice feeling to know you have a healthy safe sustainably raised supply of beef in your freezer! Just add a few wholesome tasty chickens and your are set!
The veggies are slowly coming on. Summer squash, chard, beets, green beans, – the eating is getting good!
We have not made the Ponca Farmers Market as we had planned this year. Last minute issues with time/labor has prevented us from attending. Please do come out to the farm and visit us, and we will be happy to deliver product to the Ponca area for your convenience – just drop us a line!
