Goin to the Fair!

Goin to the Oklahoma State Fair – starting the 14th of this month – we will be representing American Heritage Family Farm and the Oklahoma Food Cooperative in the Made in Oklahoma Building at the Oklahoma State Fair! Drop by and say “Hello”!
We are digging some of the biggest Sweet Potatoes we have ever seen! They are fantastic this year. Now we are trying to break the record for “how many ways can you eat a Sweet Potato”! Anyone have an favorite recipes?? We would love to share them.
Not only are we busy digging Sweet Potatoes and getting ready for the fair booth, we are also fall planting. This morning we put in a few small paddocks of wheat grass for winter forages for the livestock. (Kinda like ice cream to them in the winter!) Will be putting in spinach, lettuces, kale, etc. as soon as the weather cools down.
